Summer Schedule & Information

July 5 - August 28, 2022

NBT invites advanced and intermediate dancers from all dance schools to improve their technique through our professional level Summer Intensive.  The most flexible and affordable Summer Intensive in the area, dancers can sign up for as many days in a week and as many weeks in the session as best fits their schedule.  Full days and half days are offered for both levels in the Dover studio, and intermediate half days in the Wolfeboro studio. Full day Summer Intensive days include technique, pointe, pointe and variation, and stretch and strengthening. Each full day will incorporate these elements and more.  Half days will include a technique class and a pointe class. We are also hoping to bring in several guest master teachers. The professional level of instruction at NBT's Summer Intensive rivals that which you will find at larger urban ballet companies.

POLICY/TUITION INFORMATION

Registration. All students must pay an annual, one-time registration fee of $45 due at the time of registration. New students may register at any time during the year. New students and dancers with recent experience elsewhere are encouraged to schedule a free placement class. This offers the student a chance to see our facilities and allows the instructor to make an accurate recommendation for future class placement. Please contact us about discussing proper class placement. Continuing students will receive an automatic class placement.

Tuition. Tuition is due the 23rd of the month for the month ahead (please refer to our registration form for payment details). It is paid in advance for all classes for which you have enrolled, and if you miss a class you can do a make-up. If you are going away or know you will be missing a class, you still pay for that class. Tuition that has been paid in advance is non-refundable.

For registered students, pricing is determined by class length/type as follows:

45 min: $12.00/class

1 hr: $16.00/class

1.25 hrs: $17.50/class

1. hrs: $19.00/class

2 hrs: $24.00/class

Conditioning: $19.00/class

There is a 10% tuition discount for more than one child in a family.

For non-enrolled drop-ins:

1 hr: $22.00/class

1.5 hrs: $28.00/class

2 hrs: $35.00/class

Class placement.

1. Class placement is made at the Director's discretion.
2. Most students work at the same level for one or more years.
3. Entire classes do not advance to the next level as a unit. Students with poor attendance may not progress at the same rate as students who attend consistently or who are enrolled in additional classes.
4. Students or parents may request re-evaluations at any time during the year.
5. Students dropping out of class during the school year will not recieve an automatic class placement recommendation for advancement to the next level for the next year.
6. Students who do not complete semesters due to excessive absences, tardiness, illness, or injuries will require additional remedial classes for advancement to the next level for the next year.
